Syloria is a fantasy-themed fitness and self-improvement application that turns real-world activities such as workouts, walking, running and reading into progress within a fictional fantasy world.

Syloria includes features such as quests, character progression, workout tracking, reading tracking, step tracking, achievements, narrative content and other progression systems.

Syloria is designed for entertainment, fitness tracking and general wellbeing. It is not a medical or healthcare service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Syloria account and use the Service.

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally capable of agreeing to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity carried out through your account.

Syloria may provide workouts, exercises, fitness challenges and other physical activities.

These are provided for general fitness, recreational and informational purposes only. They are not medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent or manage any medical condition.

Physical exercise involves inherent risks. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you and for exercising safely and within your own abilities.

If you have an injury, medical condition, are pregnant, have concerns about beginning or changing an exercise programme, or are unsure whether an activity is suitable for you, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.

Stop exercising and seek appropriate medical attention if you experience concerning symptoms.

Syloria is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Syloria allows you to record information including workouts, exercises, weights, repetitions, reading progress, books, steps and other activities.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter into the Service.

Activity recorded within Syloria may be used to determine in-app progression, including experience points, quests, discoveries, achievements, Realm Progress and other game systems.

We may change or rebalance progression systems where reasonably necessary to maintain, improve or develop the Service.

Some Syloria features require an account.

You must not:

• access another person's account without permission;
• attempt to circumvent the security of Syloria or its supporting services;
• deliberately manipulate or exploit the Service in a way that interferes with its intended operation;
• use automated systems to abuse the Service;
• interfere with other users' access to Syloria; or
• use Syloria for unlawful purposes.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect Syloria, its users or its systems from misuse, fraud, security threats or unlawful activity.

You may permanently delete your Syloria account through the account settings within the app.

Account deletion removes your Syloria account and associated personal data that we are not legally required to retain.

Deletion is permanent. Your character, progression, workout history, reading history, discoveries and other account data may not be recoverable after deletion.

Certain information may remain temporarily in secure backups or where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention or regulatory purposes.

If you have an active subscription, deleting your Syloria account does not necessarily cancel a subscription managed by an app store. You should cancel any active subscription through the platform through which you purchased it.

Syloria may offer optional paid subscriptions or other paid features.

The price, subscription period, included features and any applicable introductory or free-trial period will be displayed before you purchase.

Where a subscription is purchased through Apple’s App Store, payment is charged to your Apple Account and the subscription is managed by Apple.

Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each subscription period unless cancelled in accordance with the terms presented when you subscribe.

You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings.

If a free trial is offered, the purchase screen will state the duration of the trial and the price that will apply when the trial ends. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription in accordance with the terms displayed when you subscribe.

Prices may vary by country or region and may include applicable taxes.

Any price change will be handled in accordance with the rules of the platform through which the subscription was purchased and applicable law.

You can cancel an auto-renewable subscription using the subscription management facilities provided by the platform through which you purchased it.

Cancellation generally prevents future renewal but does not normally remove access to paid features for the remainder of an already-paid subscription period.

Purchases made through Apple’s App Store are subject to Apple’s applicable payment and refund processes.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

Syloria, including its name, branding, world, characters, artwork, narrative, quests, text, interface, software and other original content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Syloria for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

You may not reproduce, sell, redistribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit Syloria or its content except where permitted by law or with our written permission.

You retain ownership of information and content that you provide to Syloria.

You give us permission to process and store that content where necessary to operate, maintain and provide the Service to you.

This permission ends when the relevant content is deleted from our systems, subject to reasonable backup periods and any legal retention obligations.

We do not claim ownership of your personal workout records, reading records or similar information merely because you record them in Syloria.

Syloria is an evolving service.

We may add, change or remove features, quests, progression systems, narrative content or other elements of the Service.

We may occasionally need to suspend access for maintenance, security, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We do not guarantee that Syloria will always be available without interruption or error.

Where a change materially affects a paid service, we will act consistently with applicable consumer law and the requirements of the platform through which that service was purchased.

Parts of Syloria may be made available as beta, preview or testing versions.

Beta features may contain bugs, change substantially or be removed before general release.

Progress or data created during a beta may need to be modified or reset where reasonably necessary for technical, security or development reasons. Where practicable, we will try to avoid unnecessary loss of user data.

Syloria relies on third-party services to provide certain functionality, which may include authentication, infrastructure, email delivery, app distribution and payment processing.

Your use of those services may also be subject to the relevant provider’s terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

To the extent permitted by law, Syloria is provided on an “as available” basis and we are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for injury or loss resulting from a user’s decision to undertake physical activity contrary to medical advice, ignore safety instructions, misuse equipment or exercise beyond their capabilities.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

You may stop using Syloria at any time and may delete your account through the app.

We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, create a security risk, engage in unlawful activity or where we are legally required to do so.

Where reasonably possible and appropriate, we will provide notice before terminating access.

We may update these Terms as Syloria develops or where changes are required for legal, regulatory, security or operational reasons.

The latest version will be available on this page and will show the date it was last updated.

If a change materially affects your rights or use of the Service, we will provide appropriate notice where required.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections provided by the laws of the country in which you live, and nothing in these Terms removes those rights.

Any disputes may be brought before the courts having jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
