Syloria (“Syloria”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a fitness and adventure application and website designed to help users build healthy habits through quests, workouts and progression.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit our website, join the Syloria waitlist, or use the Syloria application.
We are currently operating Syloria as an individual/sole trader and are not currently operating through a limited company.
01Who we are

02Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Syloria.
Website and waitlist
If you join the Syloria waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address
- The date you joined the waitlist
- Information necessary to manage your subscription to our email updates
We use this information to keep you informed about Syloria’s development and launch.
Syloria account
When you create a Syloria account, we may collect:
- Email address
- Name or display name, where provided
- Account authentication information
- Information associated with your Google or Apple sign-in account
- Your Syloria account and profile information
- Workout information
- Quest and progression information
- Experience points, achievements and other game/progression data
- Other information you choose to provide through the application
Usage and technical information
We may collect technical and usage information necessary to operate, maintain and improve Syloria, including:
- Device type and operating system
- Application version
- Diagnostic information
- Crash and error information
- Information about how the application is functioning
- Information associated with notifications and their delivery
We use crash and error reporting tools to help us identify, diagnose and fix technical problems.
We do not currently use advertising trackers or advertising networks within Syloria.
Payment information
If you choose to subscribe to Syloria Premium, payments are processed through Stripe.
We do not need to store your full payment card details ourselves. Payment information is handled by Stripe in accordance with its own privacy and security practices.
03How we use your information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate Syloria
- To create and manage your account
- To authenticate you when you sign in
- To provide your workouts, quests and progression
- To save and synchronise your Syloria progress
- To provide push notifications that you have enabled
- To provide customer support
- To process Premium subscriptions and payments
- To identify and fix crashes, errors and technical problems
- To maintain the security and reliability of the service
- To improve Syloria and develop new features
- To communicate important information about the service
- To send development updates to people who have joined the Syloria waitlist or otherwise subscribed to those updates
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising.
04Legal bases for processing
Where UK data protection law applies, we process your personal information using appropriate lawful bases, including:
Contract: where processing is necessary to provide Syloria to you, manage your account or provide features you have requested.
Legitimate interests: where processing is necessary for purposes such as maintaining and improving the service, preventing misuse, maintaining security, and diagnosing technical problems, provided that these interests are not overridden by your rights.
Consent: where we ask for your consent, such as where consent is required for particular communications or optional processing. You can withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis.
Legal obligation: where we need to process information to comply with a legal requirement.
05Emails and development updates
If you join the Syloria waitlist, we may use your email address to send occasional updates about Syloria’s development, launch and major milestones.
These updates are intended to be infrequent and may include development logs or other news about Syloria.
We use Resend to deliver these emails.
You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the email or by contacting us.
Joining the waitlist does not require you to purchase Syloria or become a user of the application.
06Third-party services
We use selected third-party service providers to operate Syloria.
These may include:
Supabase — used for authentication, database services and storing information associated with your Syloria account.
Resend — used to send email communications, including waitlist and development updates.
Stripe — used to process payments and manage Premium subscriptions.
Google — used as an optional sign-in provider.
Apple — used as an optional sign-in provider and, where applicable, to support Apple platform services.
Crash and error reporting provider(s) — used to identify and diagnose crashes, errors and technical problems.
These providers may process personal information on our behalf and only receive information necessary for the services they provide.
Some third-party providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that personal information receives protection required by applicable data protection law.
07Cookies and similar technologies
Our website does not currently use non-essential advertising or analytics cookies.
If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide appropriate information and obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
The Syloria application may use technologies necessary for authentication, security, functionality, notifications and other essential services.
08How long we keep your information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
For example:
- Waitlist information is retained while you remain subscribed to Syloria updates, unless you ask us to remove it.
- Account information is retained while your Syloria account remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards where necessary for legitimate business, legal or security purposes.
- Transaction and payment-related information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate accounting and financial purposes.
- Technical and crash information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to diagnose problems, maintain security and improve the service.
When personal information is no longer required, we will delete it or anonymise it where reasonably possible.
09Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights including:
- The right to access personal information we hold about you
- The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- The right to request deletion of your personal information
- The right to request restriction of processing
- The right to object to certain processing
- The right to data portability
- The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

You may request deletion of your Syloria account and associated personal information by contacting us.
Where account deletion functionality is provided within the application, you may also use that functionality.
Some information may need to be retained where we have a legal obligation or legitimate reason to do so, such as financial records required for accounting or information necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
11Children’s privacy
Syloria is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where doing so would be unlawful.
If you believe that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where we should not have done so, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
However, no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Syloria, our services, the technology we use, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users where appropriate.
The date at the top of this Privacy Policy shows when it was most recently updated.
